Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us at CoolLife. The policy below describes how we deal with personal information when you use any of the CoolLife Services (CoolDeals and CoolVIP).

The privacy policy complies with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 – a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.

You are required to register an account in order to use the CoolLife service.

When you “Join”, “Subscribe” or “Sign Up” we may ask for some personal information such as a valid email address, your date of birth and your preferred location. The information collected during this process is used to identify you on return visits and to enable us to provide you with the CoolLife service. This information remains confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. It will be retained in our database indefinitely, unless you request it to be removed, which you can do so by emailing us admin@cooldeals.es.

Bank Card information supplied during the purchase is handled by our payment provider via a securely encrypted connection. We do not store any of this data nor is it available to any CoolLife staff at any time.

There is also an opt in facility to remember your card details for future purchases which can be invoked by selecting “Remember my details?” during the purchase process. This facility uses a securely encrypted token mechanism whereby your card information is translated into a single secure token which is stored in our system and can be used during future transactions. At no point are your full card details stored and these tokens can only be used within the CoolLife website and mobile application.

Cookies

Our cookies do not enable us to see any other information from your computer, and they do not pose any threat to security or privacy. Cookies are used routinely by many of the most reputable “household name” websites on the internet as an aid to providing good service.

The CoolLife website uses cookies to enable us to provide an enhanced personalized service to you our customers. A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer, enabling us to recognize regular visitors and to customize our service accordingly. No personal information about the user is stored in, or retrieved from, the cookie file.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a cookie which would be stored on your computer.
